3 Feet to Pass

The new Mission Street Bikelanes were dedicated here in Santa Barbara this afternoon, complete with a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony, sponsored by the City of Santa Barbara.

The new bike lanes now extend 3 blocks making for safer bike travel east & west on Mission St. between Castillo St. and Modoc Rd., including the highway 101 under crossing.

Cheers to the City of Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County Association of Governments and the Santa Barbara Bike Coalition for pursuing safer conditions for residents and visitors.
